Leonor Ruiz-Guerrero, University of Murcia

Dr. Leonor Ruiz-Guerrero is Adjunct Professor in the Department of Language and Literature Teaching at the University of Murcia (Spain). Her research focuses on picture books promoting democratic citizenship, book talk and critical thinking in education, representations of gender in contemporary picture books, and postmodern children’s literature. Her most recent publication is “New Lived Spaces in the Post-industrial World: The Sound of Colors by Jimmy Liao” (Encyclopaideia, vol. 23, no. 55, 2019, pp. 27-51).
