Mavis Reimer

Mavis Reimer is Canada Research Chair in Young People’s Texts and Cultures at the University of Winnipeg, where she teaches in the English Department, directs the activities of the Centre for Research in Young People’s Texts and Cultures, and edits Jeunesse: Young People, Texts, Cultures.

charlie peters

At the University of Manitoba, charlie peters is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of English, Film, and Theatre; her dissertation is entitled “Timekeeper: The Nineteenth-Century Child, the Past, the Future, and the Present.” Charlie has taught courses in the cultures of childhood at the University of Winnipeg, where she has been an editor of Jeunesse: Young People, Texts, Cultures and an associate of the Centre for Research in Young People’s Texts and Cultures.
