Author Biography

Claudia Ruitenberg

Claudia Ruitenberg is Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Studies at the University of British Columbia. She is co-editor (with D. C. Phillips) of Education, Culture, and Epistemological Diversity: Mapping a Disputed Terrain (Springer, 2012) and editor of What Do Philosophers of Education Do? (And How Do They Do It?) (Wiley-Blackwell, 2010). Her research interests include the ethic of hospitality, discursive performativity, agonistic political theory and political education, and epistemological diversity in educational research. She has published numerous articles in the Journal of Philosophy of Education, Studies in Philosophy and Education, the Philosophy of Education Yearbooks, and elsewhere.
